Langtang Valley Trek Package

Langtang Valley is a great choice if you are looking for a beginner friendly trek near Kathmandu!

The trek itself is not too strenuous, but it still requires physical fitness. It doesn’t have lots of stairs like trekking routes in the Annapurna region, so it can feel easier to complete. However, it does gain quite some altitude, so it is best to go ascend slowly to avoid altitude sickness.

The trekking route goes through forests and follows a river – which looks very picturesque. Then, you start to get most of the views of the Himalayas from Langtang Village onwards.

The Langtang trek can be completed in 5-6 days, but it’s better not to rush it. The best is to spend more time at the highest point Kyanjin Gompa, and go on day hikes from there to Kyanjin Ri (4,773 m/15,660 ft) or Tserko Ri (4,984 m/16,352 ft).

This trek package includes 6 days of trekking, 2 days of travel, and 2 rest days in Kathmandu. However, if you wish to adjust the itinerary, let me know and we can customize it!

Generally, there is wifi in every village along the Langtang Trek, however, there can be difficulties to get wifi in one village (Lama Hotel) on the trek. Apart from Lama Hotel village, all other villages have good wifi.

The best time to trek in Nepal is in the Autumn (October-November) and Spring. I consider Autumn the best as the weather tends to be better then, however, Spring is also a pretty good option.
