I’m Kris, and welcome to my travel blog.

I’m originally from Hungary, and have spent the past 15 years living and working abroad across Asia and Europe. After leaving my job in humanitarian work, I started Travelling Mandala to share my travel experiences.

I first visited Nepal in 2015, and it became a place I found myself returning to again and again. I have been living in Kathmandu for the past three years, and my blog now focuses mainly on traveling in Nepal, and slow travel in Asia and Europe.
