FAQs: Everest Base Camp Trek Package

When is the best time to trek Everest Base Camp?

The best time to trek Everest Base Camp is the Autumn (October-November) and in the Spring (March-May). The weather tends to be better in the Autumn, but in May, you can see the climbing expeditions at the base camp, which is a unique experience.

Is there wifi on the trek?

Yes, wifi is pretty good along the EBC trekking route. It is the most popular trekking route in Nepal and wifi has been well-established for trekkers. It costs a small extra fee to join the wifi at the teahouses.

What accommodation is like on the EBC trek?

The accommodation is in basic, twin-sharing rooms in teahouses. Most teahouses are basic and there is no attached bathroom. Some teahouses are more modern on the EBC trek, and if you want, you can upgrade to better teahouses with attached bathrooms at an extra cost.
